The Silicon Valley International Invention and Innovation Festival (SVIIF) is open to inventors, companies, startups, universities, research institutions, associations, and public or private organizations presenting inventions, innovations, technologies, or research projects.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they possess all necessary rights, permissions, and authorizations required to present and exhibit their submissions.
Each invention, innovation, or project must be submitted through a separate registration form.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.
An invention previously exhibited at SVIIF may only be re-entered if significant improvements or modifications have been made since its previous participation.
Entries may be exhibited in the form of prototypes, models, commercial products, technical drawings, photographs, posters, videos, digital presentations, or other supporting materials approved by the Organizing Committee.
Participants are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, authenticity, and ownership of all submitted materials and information.
Booth and exhibition space allocations shall be determined exclusively by the Organizing Committee.
Participants may indicate their preferences and requirements during registration; however, the allocation of a specific location or exhibition space cannot be guaranteed. The final decision regarding space allocation rests solely with the Organizing Committee.
Registration shall become valid only after acceptance by the Organizing Committee and receipt of the applicable participation fees.
All fees must be paid within the deadlines specified in the invoice or registration confirmation.
Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of participation.
Participants who cancel their participation before the final registration deadline may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the applicable participation fee.
No refunds shall be granted after the final registration deadline unless otherwise approved in writing by the Organizing Committee.
Requests for additional services, including but not limited to furniture, electricity, internet access, parking, advertising, sponsorship opportunities, booth construction, transportation, exhibition equipment, and other related services, must be submitted through the designated forms and within the specified deadlines.
Such services may be subject to additional charges and may be provided by service providers introduced by the Organizing Committee.
All orders, agreements, payments, and obligations relating to such services shall be arranged directly between the participant and the service provider. The Organizing Committee acts solely as an introducer and receives no financial benefit, commission, or compensation from the services provided.
The Organizing Committee shall bear no responsibility or liability for the quality of services, pricing, execution schedules, delays, damages, losses, disputes, or any other matters arising between participants and service providers.
The Organizing Committee shall provide participants with information relating to exhibition schedules, setup and dismantling procedures, judging schedules, award ceremonies, and other operational guidelines.
Participants are responsible for reviewing and complying with all instructions and regulations communicated by the Organizing Committee.
Intellectual property rights relating to inventions, innovations, and projects exhibited at SVIIF shall remain the property of the participants.
Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable intellectual property laws and regulations and warrant that they possess the legal authority to present, exhibit, and promote their submissions.
Participants are required, where appropriate, to register or otherwise protect their inventions, innovations, and intellectual property rights through the appropriate legal and official channels prior to participation in the event. Responsibility for obtaining patents, trademarks, design registrations, copyrights, or any other form of intellectual property protection rests solely with the participant.
The Organizing Committee, SVIIF, and IFIA shall not be responsible for verifying ownership claims, protecting intellectual property rights, resolving intellectual property disputes, or addressing claims made by third parties regarding exhibited works.
Participants grant SVIIF, IFIA, and their authorized representatives the right to photograph, film, record, reproduce, publish, and use images, videos, interviews, presentations, exhibition materials, and related content for promotional, educational, archival, public relations, and marketing purposes without additional compensation.
The Organizing Committee, IFIA, SVIIF, venue operators, sponsors, partners, and their representatives shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, injury, delay, interruption, or other incident occurring before, during, or after the event.
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage for their inventions, products, equipment, exhibition materials, booths, and travel arrangements.
Participants agree to display their exhibits throughout the official exhibition period and to comply with all applicable event rules, regulations, and instructions.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to remove any exhibit, project, or participant whose conduct, activities, materials, or presentations are deemed unlawful, misleading, inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with the objectives and standards of the event.
Participants are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information, descriptions, claims, images, documents, and materials submitted in connection with their participation.
The Organizing Committee shall not be responsible for any errors, omissions, misleading statements, exaggerated claims, or inaccurate information provided by participants.
All judging decisions are final and binding.
Participation in SVIIF does not guarantee the receipt of awards, medals, special recognitions, funding opportunities, investment, business partnerships, commercial agreements, or any other specific outcome.
The Organizing Committee shall not be liable for any cancellation, postponement, modification, interruption, or failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, pandemics, governmental actions, legal restrictions, labor disputes, utility failures, technical disruptions, or other force majeure events.
